This shift knob is made from an old skateboard and epoxy, I first glue up strips of the skateboard to get the basket weave pattern then encase it in epoxy, the added epoxy on top of the skateboard blank gives it the magnifying glass/ marble effect. then I turn it down on my lathe to a sphere and finally coat it in a few coats of epoxy so it’s nice and weatherproof. It has 3/8 -24 threads.
